Pinnacle Family Services Treatment Foster Care Program provides trauma informed care to youth who receive our Case Management and Treatment Foster Cares services. We also recognize that our youth have experienced traumatic events and would benefit greatly from our approach to service delivery.
Our approach is based largely on creating a culture and environment built on five core principles of trauma informed care:
Foster Care is temporary placement which assists children in preparing for return to their birth parents or for a more permanent placement such as reunification, guardianship or adoption. Case managers and/or social workers visit the home on a regular basis to provide services to support the children's needs. Foster parents receive ongoing financial and medical assistance monthly.
